Feeding Instructions
ALL PUPPIES SHOULD RECEIVE THEIR MOTHERS MILK FOR AT LEAST 2 DAYS AS COLOSTRUM MILK GIVES EXTRA NUTRITION AND TEMPORARY IMMUNITY AGAINST SOME DISEASES. Feed puppies 2 tablespoons of liquid (30 mL) per 4 oz (115 gr) of body weight. Small or weak puppies need to be fed every 3 - 4 hours while larger puppies do well when fed Esbilac liquid every 8 hours. Daily feeding rate should be divided into equal portions for each feeding. Weigh puppies daily to assure adequate feeding. Discard after 72 hours. Or freeze within 3 days. Do not freeze in original container.
Transition Instructions
When a food supplement is desired for growing post weaned puppies, show dogs or old or convalescent dogs, feed at a rate of 2 tablespoons per 5 lbs of body weight.
