Shake well before use. Wet coat, apply and lather shampoo over entire body, allowing 5 to 10 minutes of contact. Rinse thoroughly. Repeat process as needed.
For topical use on dogs over 6 weeks old.

Each of the Ultra Premium Shampoo and Conditioner formulas have been specially formulated to help eliminate odors, provide relief for pet's with itchy skin, bring out the natural shine in light and dull color coats, release tangles in long coats or moisturize the skin and coat with frequent bathing.
The FURminator shampoos are recommended for use every 4-6 weeks. The products are safe to use more frequently, but the majority of indoor pets do not need to be bathed more often than that.
To use:
Wet coat. Gently lather FURminator shampoo over entire body and leave on for at least 5 minutes to help penetrate to the skin. Thoroughly rinse and repeat if necessary.
Follow with FURminator conditioner. Gently lather and leave on for at least five minutes before rinsing completely. Make sure your pet is completely dry before using the FURminator deShedding Tool.
FURminator also offers hair care and hygiene products that can be used between baths. Each of the natural formulas are gentle to the pet's skin and were developed for frequent use. The deShedding Waterless Spray and deOdorizing Waterless Spray help to reduce excess shedding and neutralize odors between baths. The deTangling Waterless Spray helps release tangles for easy brushing.
Can I use FURminator Ultra Premium Shampoo and Conditioner after giving my dog a flea or tick treatment?
The FURminator Ultra Premium Shampoos, Conditioner and Waterless Sprays should not affect the topical flea and tick preventatives when used as directed by the topical preventative. Each flea and tick preventative works differently, so it is important to read the instructions on the box and apply the topical preventative as directed before or after a bath. Most topical preventatives suggest waiting 3-5 days before and after a bath to apply the product.
The FURminator line of hair care products are mild and do not contain "stripping" ingredients that would remove the flea and tick topical preventative. The majority of the flea and tick preventatives are held in the skin pores and require aggressive cleaning or "degreasing" to affect their performance.
